Position 1
–Medical staff consultation (e.g., Medical Staff Bylaws and Credentialing), corrective action, hearings and appeals, and downstream litigation.
–Federal PSQIA advice and consultation (to PSOs and Providers) and defense of privilege litigation.
–Commercial litigation for healthcare clients (e.g., HIPAA, hospital pricing, breakup of joint venture relationship, managed care disputes)
–Fraud and Abuse consultation (Stark, Anti-kickback)
–Health care transactional work
Position 2
–Regulatory experience with state and federal statutes and regs, including Fraud and Abuse, and familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid and health care facility licensure
–Experience defending facility licensure actions for providers, nursing/personal care homes, assisted living facilities, hospices and home health agencies
–Experience working with Federal Agencies, including CMS, OSHA, DEA, DOJ and OIG
–Health care transactions and CHOWs
